What is Healing? – PentaGlax Healthy

Healing process

About 90% of the diseases that afflict mankind have their origin in the mind. The mind, digestive and the immune system work hand in hand. The digestive tract is a host of trillions of healthy microbes that play a major role in our health. The gut microbiome is the term used to refer to them. Their health and responses are also influenced by the state of the mind. A healthy prescence of these microbe promotes health. A deficiency promotes disease manifestation. Positive thought patterns will enhance both the digestive and immune functions. Negative thought patterns will lead to depression of both the digestive and immune functions. Therefore we can see that actually our state of health is greatly influenced by the quality of our mental state. This influences the healing process.

Thoughts are things. Thoughts trigger feelings(emotions). Emotions trigger behavior in your trillion body cells. Negative thought patterns may lead to an excessive release of harmful chemicals that may promote disease. These chemicals may lead to excesses that may lead to tissue, organ and system damage. Some of these chemicals are cortisol and adrenaline. Cortisol may lead to the deposition of bad cholesterol in your arteries hence promoting arteriosclerosis. This hardening of arteries may actually promote stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. Positive thoughts patterns on the other hand will lead to the production of happy hormones e.g endorphins that produce healing .

Emotional wounds may cause physical disease manifestation. Anger, sorrow, bitterness, jealousy, resentment, regrets etc are all harmful. They may promote the manifestation of ailments such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, cardiac problems, stroke, impotence etc.

Healing is a process of bringing harmony between the mind, body, spirit and emotions. When these are in harmony, emotional wounds are resolved hence vibrant health is the consequence. Love is the most powerful medicine here. That means loving self and others.
